World Travel Awards (WTA) 2023 grand closing gala unveils the world’s best travel brands Ta.

Tourism royalty gathered at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai Arab to see who would be crowned the best among them.

The red carpet reception was a highlight of the WTA’s 30th anniversary, honoring outstanding travel achievements.


The Maldives was one of the stars of the night, winning the top honor as a ‘World’s Leading Destination’ with the Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) named ‘World’s Leading Tourism Association’

The Philippines’ pristine beaches and coral reefs have been recognized with the World’s Best Diving Destination Award and the World’s Best Beach Destination Award.

Madeira’s wild beauty proved a winner with voters as the Atlantic archipelago was named ‘World’s Great Island Destination’.

Cannes has been called “the world’s premier festival and event destination” for its timeless elegance and world-class facilities with Burj Al Arab.

The Caribbean region recorded a strong performance, with the paradise island of St. Lucia being named ‘World’s Top Honeymoon Destination’.

Jamaica also cemented its reputation as a tourism leader by being named the World’s Leading Family Destination and the World’s Leading Cruise Destination with Burj Al Arab.

The rapid growth of Qatar’s tourism industry has earned it numerous awards. Following the success of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, World Travel Awards Doha has been named a ‘World’s Leading Sports Tourism Destination.

It is also recognized as a “world’s leading business destination”. World Travel Awards Qatar Tourism Authority was awarded the “World-Leading Marketing Campaign” award.

In the New Entries category, Dubai’s legendary Atlantis, World Travel Awards The Royal lived up to expectations, earning the title of ‘World’s Leading New Resort’.

Qatar’s new architectural masterpiece, Raffles Doha, has been named one of the world’s best new hotels.

The World Travel Awards rise of Saudi Arabia’s tourism economy has been recognized, with Red Sea International Airport being selected as one of the world’s leading new airports .

Luxury beach resort Jumeirah Al Naseem in the United Arab Emirates has won the title of World’s Leading Hotel, while Sardinia’s Forte His Village Resort has won the title of World’s Leading Resort World Travel Awards.
